I would like to know some details about packet managment,

and how easy it would be to load additinal software.

Hi,

It's not possible to add software for the moment as PapugLinux is running from a CD. The original package management (Portage from Gentoo) has been desactivated.

If you need a couple of softwares to be included in the next release, please ask and we'll see if we can add them.

For a fully configurable system, a hard drive install is needed to reactivate Portage. This last point is our priority in the project.
